The Branding Iron Room,
being larger, has queen-sized mattresses, upper and lower, in its
cedar-post bed, and a queen-sized futon bed. In addition to a larger
microwave, there's an electric stovetop. Its refrigerator is full size.
Its TV has satellite programming. The 12-light side doors offer a
glimpse of pastures beyond our barn....and the occasional strolling
longhorn.
The middle, our Lone Star Room, has two cedar-post double beds,
upper and lower, with Serta double mattresses and fine linens, and is
equipped with a tabletop refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
(Continental breakfast being at your convenience, we provide French
roast coffee, whole beans freshly ground.)
Our Route 66 Room, in
addition to being furnished and equipped as the Lone Star Room, has its
own porch, screened on three sides, with table and chairs for
conversation and perhaps longhorn watching: they pass within a few feet
on their way to the water trough in back.
